I am a stay-at-home mom to 2 boys (currently 3 and 10 months). I first joined Spark after having my first son to help get off the rest of that baby weight and I'm back now to lose what I gained during pregnancy #2. I gained 40 pounds each pregnancy. Goal number 1 is to lose the pregnancy weight and goal number 2 is to get down to 150 pounds (or less!).

My Goals:
Goal #1: Hit my pre-pregnancy weight of 163 lbs

Goal #2: Hit 150 lbs

My Program:
My biggest issue is portion control so I am making a conscious effort to read packaging to see what an actual portion is. I am also an emotional eater and eat late at night when I'm bored, tired, loney, happy, etc. I have just started up with Spark again and have started by tracking everything I'm putting into my mouth and attempting to squeeze a workout in every day. I prefer to work out first thing in the morning, but I'm still up throughout the night to nurse the baby and it isn't too easy to get up. I've been doing an evening workout once the children are in bed. I enjoy using my elliptical, but also enjoy using the treadmill at my dad's house. I LOVE to get the family out for a weekend hike when possible and love outdoor family time.

Personal Information:
I am from a small town in Southern New Hampshire and have lived in this area my entire life apart from 3 years at college in Massachusetts and 1 year abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. I made the decision to stay at home with my boys when we discovered it wasn't financially worth it for me to work. I have recently started doing some homeschooling with my VERY ACTIVE toddler to keep him busy and I also do some side work when I can as a real estate virtual assistant.

Other Information:
I love country music and I love to read - I see it as an escape. No matter how tired I am at night, I cannot go to bed without reading for a little while! One of my favorite books is Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I also love my Corgi dog.

    Thanks for the comment on my blog! My toddler still gets up early some mornings and wakes up the baby. I really wish she wouldn't do that. Luckily when the baby wakes up it doesn't wake the toddler up. It's always something with one of them! and congrats on your weight loss.

    Thanks for the blog comment. I do switch it up and usually do 30-day shred on 2 days of the week. I'm thinking of maybe doing the shred 3 days of the week and running 2 days for awhile, maybe that will help!

    As for new love is Nutella!!!! Feels like I'm eating candy when I'm not and it's not too hard to fit into my calorie range. I make sure to save calories for it!

    3 is worse???? Oh no!!!! Now I'm really happy we are signing him up for preschool right around the time he turns 3. That means a break for 2 half days a week!!
    Have fun on your night out with your hubby!! My husband and I haven't really been able to do that since we had the kids...babysitters cost way too much
