Living my Best Life Now

I'm 70 years young. Married with 2 grown kids and 2 gorgeous grandsons. I live in Victoria on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada. We moved here to retire and I want to lose weight so I can enjoy my retirement and the rest of my life.

Hello from the Grey Wolves' team. I wish you the best in the new year to come. Hopefully, you can keep up with all of the challenges to come. My biggest challenge is getting in enough exercise time. How about you? My scale is not moving fast enough for me, and I may never be the biggest loser. Any loss is a victory, and I am in this to reach my goal weight. I hope that we can become cheerleaders for one another. We are all in this together. Linda

Hi! I'm a LovelyLime member of the Winter Freeze challenge who's stopping by. I've read your page and some of your blogs. We have a lot in common. I'm nearly 70 so we are close in age. Not too many of us in the challenges. I'm also a jeans and Tee shirt girl. I'm not on this journey to be a bathing beauty or pinup; I just want to be as healthy as possible and live at a consistent weight and degree of fitness that allows me to comfortably participate in life. We "older" gals can do it! Your pictures are great; you have really made progress toward your goals.....that inspires me to keep going. Eventually I WILL break this plateau I'm living on!

My husband did something with the photo- some reverse filter or something? But actually- looking down the hill from our house in the winter- it always looks like a Christmas card to me. You should see our downtown! Maybe I'll post that next- it's like stepping back in time except for the cars. Love it here. :)
