My Three Month Streak
I restarted on SP three months ago and have been on track for the whole time. I'm not setting any records with weight loss. But I am eating so much better, moving and exercising a lot more, and definitely moving in the right direction. I have learned so much from the resources here on SP and also from my great Sparkfriends. There are so many friendly, supportive people here and I really want to thank all of you. But I am eating so much better, moving and exercising a lot more, and definitely moving in the right direction. I have learned so much from the resources here on SP and also from my great Sparkfriends. There are so many friendly, supportive people here and I really want to thank all of you. The food and exercise trackers have been priceless in helping me keep with it and always have an up-to-date idea of how I'm doing and where I need to make adjustments. I hope to come back here in another three months and report on my progress and continued success. Until then, I'll continue taking baby steps in my new healthy life changes. Many thanks to Chris and staff and also to all my friendly SparkFriends who have help me keep going every day whether I want to or not.

My Program:
The main focus of "my program" is to keep going, no matter what, and never give up. When I don't overreact to a slip up its easier for me to just move on and stay conscious of doing better. It helps a lot when I have a general menu plan for at least the three days ahead. I'm not REAL good at this. I'm pretty much a spontaneous seat of the pants kind of girl, which I like about myself, until it comes to trying to eat right and stay moving. So I take some time to jot down menus of what I'd LIKE to eat during the next 72 hrs then make a grocery list from there. Being prepared with healthy yummy foods really helps me stay on track. For exercise at the very least I stretch and/or do dance aerobics for AT LEAST 10 minutes 3x per day. I also love to be outdoors and either walk or ride my bike. I love walking in beautiful places like the beaches of the Olympic Peninsula.
Other Information:
Since I'm not on a diet, I never worry about going off it. Healthy lifestyle is the way to go!
