The antidote for anxiety is action.

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies growth and our freedom."

I've seen the above attributed to a couple of different subjects, but the sentiment is just as good.

What a wonderful memory, even if you were itching. The poor girl that lost her top. Oh my!

I hope you have a good weekend.

My question for you is where did you grow up, city and state? I grew up in New Bern, NC.

Thanks for stopping by my page. The best compliment I've received lately is when I was stuck in a plateau for a few months and several people told me I looked like I was losing weight. This made me realize that the number on the scale wasn't as important as I was making it and if I kept doing what I was doing the scale would show it too. emoticon

Hi! Thanks for visiting my page and asking the question of "What's the first thought you had this morning?" I laughed when I read your answer to the question, because my first thought was "What time is it?" The clock by the bed is broken and I haven't replaced it yet.

So, here is my question for you: What made you smile today? For me, it was a call from my adult son. He was just calling to chat and didn't need a thing.
