Increase lung capacity and heart function by increasing regular exercise. Woo-Hoo! Here I go again!!

Tracking food /nutrition daily;
Track fitness daily: golf, aquafit, walking;
minimum 10 min exercise daily;
Track steps;
Incorporate yoga and tai chi for flexibility;
Strength training M,W,F -
Join challanges for short term momemtum!!
Stay focused and stay positive! Stay real!!
Interact with other real people on Spark People!! Take and give encouragement!!!

My name is Linda and I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada in the southern interior. I have 2 married daughters and 3 grandchildren. My husband and I are retired. I have Atrial Fib and asthsma. I am on heart meds and use a puffer when I need it.

The journey for me is to get better numbers. Sugar, Fat in arteries, keeping my bones strong. Keeping my husband healthy also

Thanks for reading my blog, and your kind words! You're so right about "putting it off". I've been putting this off for a long time - but I'm finally realizing that there are always reasons NOT to do it, and the reasons why I am doing it are so much more important!

And you're right that I'm building good habits for the future - and I should stop worrying about it!

Thanks for the support ! I am "still pushing". We are having some very nice weather here and I was able to play two days last week. It was 71 degrees today and we have a couple more days before getting another cold blast. Glad you are back! emoticon
