February 2011 Progress report: there has been some backsliding... I haven't been tracking or exercising the way I should. I've lost some fitness and gained a little weight. 5 pounds, not insurmountable. With all the humongous life changes we've been facing I'm not totally surprised, but it's time to pick up the bits and get back on track. If I'm going to thrive through moving to a new city, going back to University, my husband quitting his job and going back to school, new house, new schools for the kids... it's going to take a physically and mentally healthy me. My goals have to be updated, I've changed my siggy so I'm not sitting back on past laurels any longer and I have to get tracking again. Settin' the trackers BACK to public for some accountability, people! I've acquired all of the skills it will take to succeed through this period of transition, change and challenge. Now it's time to put those skills to work! May 2010 Just a few days away from my official 'Sparkiversary' and I'm looking back at what this year has been like. For the first time in my life, I've learned enough about what my triggers for failure are, that I have actually been able to do something about them! I feel comfortable in my abilities, my life, my own skin. I'm healthier, happier, more confident, I have stronger relationships in my life and I feel like I have more to look forward to in my life than I ever have before. It's hard to imagine how a 'diet' site could have done all of that for me. I'm a long way from where I started out, and loving the view from here :o)
