This is all about me!

I am Tracy, also known as "Mom". I am 40 and have a 10 yo boy with Asperger's Syndrome and a 5 yo girl. I am married to a prince of a man who supports me in any endeavor I chose.

Since beginning my weight loss journey in 2006, my lowest weight was on my wedding day of 172. In my 20's I was 136-140 and would like to be there again.

I work 2 part time jobs that are flexible with my schedule. It is sometimes a little hectic, but it works and I am where my kids need ...

I work 2 part time jobs that are flexible with my schedule. It is sometimes a little hectic, but it works and I am where my kids need me, with them! It does get challenging to fit in my needs for exercising, but I try to squeeze it in whenever I can.

I had some health issues that were really an interference with my exercise routine for about 2 years. During that time I became depressed and I pretty much threw in the towel on myself.

I struggle with my binge eating habits. It is a horrible feeling to not be able to control yourself. My experience in the past tells me that once I break that cycle I am extremely dedicated and self motivated. I just need to pick myself up, dust myself off and kick myself in the @$$! I am REALLY struggling with the bingeing and can't seem to go more than 1-2 days.

I am back to my pre-surgery self and I just put my youngest into kindergarden so I should be able to find a little extra time for me. I would like to start out walking and build from there. I truly miss running for not only the exercise but also the mental self therapy it provided me with.

My Goals:
My short term goal is to make it 1 entire week doing my cardio, strength training and stick to my eating plan!

My long term goal is to be 130. I want to be a single digit size and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My Program:
I am trying to drink more water, get more sleep and keep aware of my eating. I have a decent knowledge of what I should be eating and of portion sizes, however, I seem to get restless and start snacking. I am trying to find ways to keep me busy during my weak hours.

Personal Information:
I grew up in a small village in SE WI. There is a lot of bad eating habits here and I fell victim to them. Johnsonville Brats, beer & deep fried cheese nuggets make me say mmm at first then afterward I say ohhhh! My mother always meant well but she was and is a horrible example for eating.

I now live in SW FL and have been here for the last 22 years! The warm winters are fabulous for being outside exercising.

Other Information:
I like to speed walk, bike and rollerblade and run. I have taken the last 3 years off though so I have some work to do.

You are young and this lifetime change in your eating habit along with exercise should get you to your goal..
You can do it. Don't let anything get in your way. TOPS is a good support group. It is not expensive..Joanne
