I'm always a little embarassed when my dog is visibly confused by watching people run.

Fitness Minutes: 50,176

My Goals:
In 2011 my goal was to become more active. Going from couch potato in 2010 to 14K fitness minutes in 2011 certainly counts. I even have a modest racing bib collection to build on ; )
In 2012 I want to redefine femine for myself. In 2011 I got a taste of the idea that women can be sexy because they are strong - mentally and physically. This year I will exude and solidify this philosphy for myself.

My Program:
Accept a challege and rise to it!
Apparently I bore easily so a sequence of challenges is the way to go for me. Currently I am starting on the 2 month Insanity program, will be signing up for a number of runs, have signed up for the Seattle Rock & Roll Marathon, will be doing the Seattle To Portland (1 day) bike tour and take up swimming (perhaps a mini triathlon is in order).
The basic plan is still "me first". I've got to put in the work, and I can't let others' drama get in the way. Personally and socially this is very difficult for me so not only will I try to limit the degree to which others' negative behavior affects me but I will also work to temper it by inviting in the positive.

Day to day plan currently is bike commuting & working out in the morning to DVDs (we just moved - closer to work, farther from the gym). In February I'll begin training for the marathon and bike tour in June.
