2014 New Beginnings

Can't believe that Spring is almost here.
I am so glad too. Tired of all the cold weather!
So I am changing my page to help welcome it in.
As for the challenges, they are going fine so far.
Thank you mom and all of my buddies who are helping.
Couldn't do it without you.
(Still working on the race coming up in October).
Will keep thinking positive about that.

Great news, I now know what team I will be on.
Will be with the Walkers and Joggers for our winter Challenge. We start next Saturday. I can't wait!
While I am waiting for them, I am working on my Yellow Roses team. We will be focusing on Drinking water on Week 2.
I have never really introduced myself. Both of these teams are great. And I am going to work really hard for both of them!
Thanks to all of you for encouraging me. Both on and off the groups. Will keep in contact with you all. And chat with my groups and buddies daily on their pages or group chat.

I have been struggling with weight since Middle school.
However, I am learning to love me for me.
And not let a scale rule who I am or whatever.
Mom introduced me to this site in 2009.
Been here ever since and made so many friends!

But til then, I am doing the Thanksgiving Challenge.
Where I exercise for 10 or more minutes during the holiday.

Hey Holly!

Sorry about the pedometer breaking. Bummer!

The only suggestion I have is to either track your walking in minutes or if you know how far you're walking track it in miles. I'm flexible either way of tracking for the challenge. As I stated on the walking chat thread, it's all about moving and staying active. Do what works for you until you're able to get a new pedometer.

Weather is great here in Holland, MI today. Right now it's sunny with a nice cool breeze...great way to start the morning. As for books...I am all over the place with different authors. My favorites are JD Robb, Janet Evanovich and I am discovering some great new authors. I am working on a cross stitch project for my husband that I have been working on for many years...I hope it gets it done by Christmas.
