Difficulty is opportunity in disguise.

Experienced some sizable weight loss using SP. However a challenge was just around the corner. I was getting very thirsty. Short story I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2, even though it is not prevalent in my family. Now I am taking meds and utilizing SP programs to monitor nutrition and exercise. I have evolved with SP to just lose weight, now I try to manage my D2 condition. Just balancing more balls in the air now. Hi George and thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words. I feel now that of course I wish I hadn't gone through any of that but if I can help someone else now it was worth it. I saw on your intro page you have type II Diabetes. Me too. My mom had it and now I do. I find it hard to control cause I have a tendency not to control what goes in my mouth. I'm working on it. I want to live longer and be healthy for my kids. I see you belong to a lot of teams but I wanted to invite you to another team if you're interested. It's called Keep Walking With Jesus. We concentrate on health, nutrition, exercise and keeping Jesus #1 in our lives. It's great support and encouragement. There's also great participation. We'd love to see you there.
Blessings,
Dari co-leader

BTW I see you're in Denver. My late husband was from Aurora and we used to go to Ft. Collins every summer to see my hubby's dad. Beautiful country!
