Same Goals, Different Mindset, More Stress, Stronger Determination 12-30-12 Yea Me! Same Goals, Different Mindset, New Motivation 1-1-12 Yea Me! On March 6, 2010, I had an epiphany, which came to me as a stranger wrote a letter to her oldest friend. I was the stranger describing a woman I once knew as myself. I didn't realize I had disappeared until I saw the list of wonderful activities and interests I once pursued. I was whining about what I hadn't done yet and how I would start on Monday. This would had made it my hundredth thousand promise to start on Monday, but thank goodness the light came on and this is what followed in my email. "I need to get batteries for my pedometer and that is the current excuse that is holding me back in time. Oh the lists go on! but hey baby adult steps. You know, why does time management have to start on Monday, you see how screwed up we are. Go write what you need to do and eat tomorrow and the next. Clean one drawer today and tomorrow and everyday after, until every single drawer has been touched (Just ONE if you do more you will not be motivated to do it by day three-okay two at the most no more and that includes boxes). Plan to lose at least one pound every week, and you and I can say we finally did it...instead of "Next Summer"... Now, who is the me I have been wanting to be in addition to who I am - I'll spare you the list, for first I have to get back to my old self before moving on. It's sad I am only still two of those people on my list and they are both half a**, oh wait two and a half, Daughter, Friend and Smart, lol, so sad. Well I'm off, I have a list to fulfill and a drawer to clean and maybe even a battery to buy... think I'll go shimmy with Beyonce on my DVD. After my email I began my lists. I was trying to find how many calories are in a hard-boiled egg when I stumbled upon this blessed site. Now here I am happy and thankful to be here and enjoying rediscovering me.

Living. Returning to a healthy, functional weight and checking off all of the things on my list below that I use to partake in. Designer, Traveling (love taking bus trips to new places), Learner (adult school classes sign language, french, swimming...), Volunteer, Gourmet, Dancing, Artist, Sewer, Music Lover, Better Organized, Walker/Hiker, Amateur Astronomer, Aquarist and Photographer,Neat.
My Program:
Planning, Purchasing and Preparing all of my meals. Strength Training 3 days a week alternating Upper and Lower Body every other day. Mon. Wed. Fri. Cardio 3 days a week Tues. Thurs. Sat.
Personal Information:
I'm a Philly girl born and raised until I moved to Florida in 2007 for my husband's job. I miss my city sooo much. Anyhoo, the list in My Goals, sums up the bulk of my interests except for, my love of musicals (Woo Hoo! Les Mis is coming back), and Adopt, Save a Life, Spay and Neuter. Oh, did I mention I'm a Philadelphian if you plan on visiting - Art Museum, Reading Terminal Market, Top of City Hall, Franklin Institute, Mann Music Center...
