Slow but Steady Wins the Race
I am the queen of weight loss without a doubt. Oh yes, I have lost hundreds of pounds over the years and still find myself back at my heaviest weight. How can that be? I am tired of continually regaining the weight which I have lost and need to make some permanent life style changes. The journey has begun!!! I am the queen of weight loss without a doubt. Oh yes, I have lost hundreds of pounds over the years and still find myself back at my heaviest weight. How can that be? I am tired of continually regaining the weight which I have lost and need to make some permanent life style changes. The journey has begun!!! I committed to improved healthy eating habits, joined a gym for the first time in my life, and signed up with Spark People for motivation. Already it's proven to be quite a journey. First day at the gym I learned that when I hit the wall it doesn't mean to stop but pushing through the wall brings results. I have learned that childhood experiences don't have to define who I am. No they don't. Having always been unable to do any situps I just accepted that I have weak abdominal muscles and I just am not built to do sit ups. Here 40 plus years later I learn that I can do situps. Really!!! I am looking forward to learning what other barriers wait to be broken.

DONE 2. joined Spark People - DONE 3. increased vegetable and fruit intake while eating balanced meals going well Dec. 2012 - 4. go to aqua spinning 3 times a week at ARC going well Dec 2012 5. go to ARC gym 5 times a week going well Dec. 2012 a. treadmill at least 3 times a week for 45 minutes b. stationary bike at least 2 times a week for 45 minutes c. strength training at least 2 times a week 6. Little Black Dress contest - Sept - Dec. 6, 2012 - lost 17.6 lbs. - Placed 3rd 7. Fall 5% Challenge - lost 11 lbs- done Dec 2012 8. Winter 5% Challenge 9. BLC21 Challenge - Jan 16/13 - 10.
