Long Term:
Attain healthy weight range, drop the Obese and Overweight labels.

Short Term:
Lose 10 lbs. by Aug. 16,
Exercise thirty minutes each day.
Walk 5000 steps a day three days a week.

My Program:
Summer 5% Challenge Commitment

Get up early and walk 30-60 min. 6 days a week. In inclement weather, use the treadmill.

Add core strengthening exercises two days a week.

Follow the Sparkpeople Nutrition Plan.

I am a retired school teacher living in a small town in North Central NE, My husband is a retired rancher--Well as retired a sandhill rancher can be. We have three grandchildren, the light of our lives!

emoticon for stopping by my blog. I hadn't thought about food having control over me but maybe it does. I know it used to be my comfort during stressful times but I've learned to notice when I do it so I can head off eating it or stop it much more quickly. Of course it helps to keep the bad comfort foods out of the house.
