Training is the Opposite of Hoping..

Hey Everyone! I'm Kristy, and I'm working toward a healthy lifestyle. I've always had some issues with sticking to a healthy lifestyle, but always find that I truly enjoy eating healthy and working out. I always start with a goal, a schedule and a menu, but end up getting lazy. So, here I am, trying again for the hundreth time. Hopefully this time it'll stick more than the last few times!

My Goals:
Basically, my goal is to lose 15lbs and keep it off. I've fluctuated a lot since I started and finished college. My other goal is to run a half marathon on May 3, 2009 in Allentown. (I'm already 3 weeks into training and doing pretty good, despite running on a treadmill!)

My Program:
Right now my program consists of running, cross training, strength training, yoga, biking and eating a lot of protein. So far, I've noticed a considerable difference in the past few weeks with the way I "feel", but I'm not sure I've actually lost anything yet.

Other Information:
"Training is the Opposite of Hoping" - This is on my favorite gym tee. I think about how I've always "hoped" weight loss will just happen, but we all know it doesn't.
