The last 5 pounds

I hear about how difficult the last 10 pounds is to lose, but I seem to be stuck at the last 5. The good news is that I've maintained 125 pounds for over a year now, but I'd really like to finish this off and see 120 on the scale (and maintain THAT number :)

Spark is what got me started and what I continue to come back to when I need it. So much positive support here - it's impossible not to feel the love.

My Goals:
Run three to four times a week throughout 2012

Work up to 20 miles per week with a six mile long run

Be able to do a bridge up and a tripod headstand

Get more trail running in

Finally achieve my goal weight of 118-120

My Program:
Track my food - if I commit to this, I actually lose weight. Really, it's that simple :)

Running three to four times per week. Biking when the weather cooperates.

P90x for strength training and plyometrics. I use this occasionally, not every day



Personal Information:
I'm 44, live in Illinois.

I work in healthcare.

Happily married with a very active 14 year old daughter.

Hiya honey! As always - thanks so much for your amazing blog comment! I appreciate it!! I think my head is just stuck in that "190 pounds is FAT" thing. The last time I was 190 pounds I looked MUCH different and was definitely not a size 6!

Its amazing how much our bodies can be the same weight but look totally different! You're doing an amazing job with yourself as well - to be able to see all those changes!! You should be super proud!!

We are BOTH awesome!!!
