One Day at a Time

Looking at the big picture can be so very overwhelming! So I am choosing to take it on day at a time. Moment by moment, day by day, litle by little the pounds and inches are coming off. Every day that I have stayed in my calorie range exercised and used the trackers I am accomplishing a goal. In time all the efforts will add up.

My Goals:
1. Track meals in the meal planner daily.

2. Drink 8 glasses of water daily

3. increase activity to 3x a week for 2 weeks then 4x a week.

Try more of the spark recipes.

My Program:
1. Cut back on carbs. Eat healthy carbs.

2. smaller servings.

3. Stay with the calorie range by using the meal tracker.

Personal Information:
I live in northern MN and have for most of my life. I'm married and have two grown children. I work as a nurse in an acute care setting. Hobbies include gardening, scrap booking, card making, photography, knitting and web surfing.

We had lots of rain this spring when it's normally drier and the summers at the rainy season but not this year. Hot and dry with lots of humidity!!

Congrats on quitting smoking.

I am sure you are feeling better since doing so.

I smoked as a teenager and remember when I quit smoking and was amazed at how much farther I could swim after only a few months. Previously had trouble swimming 4 lengths of Olympic pool and increased to 20 lengths with no shortness of breath. It was about 50 years ago and remember it like it was yesterday.

I even was tested as allergic to tobacco and cigarette smoke but needed more incentive than that before I quit. Sometimes we just have to have an epiphany.
