Congratulations for having your SparkPage featured in the Community Home section today. Woo hoo! We're both members of the Off the Wall Team so I added you as a SparkFriend.
Wow! Look at all those Spark Points!

Hope you're having a spectacular Sunday.

Thanks for commenting on my SparkPage feed Fran. The youngest was out of school three days this week and the oldest out all week. Not sure how I got lucky with only being down one day. Maybe it is because God knew I needed to take care of my kids. Whatever the reason I'm glad this is almost out of our system. Finally got some snow today. If it is going to be cold in Minnesota I say we need snow. Can't wait to go sledding and snowshoeing.
    Take care!

    Hi Fran,

The Duluth and North Shore areas are favorite destinations of mine any time of the year. the best part is that it's not too far from home so day trips are easy to do. A few years ago, my son and I toured the ice caves on the Wisconsin side of the lake. That was an amazing experience too. The ice caves are not accessible every year. The ice on the lake has to be pretty thick in order to be safe to travel on. The Circle Tour of Lake Superior is on my bucket list. I think fall would be the best time to do that.

Winter sent another blow last night. We had freezing rain in the late evening and snow during the night - 6" so far.

Hope all is well with you!

Yes I did enjoy watching it snow and some melted before dark. Suppose to have freezing temps in the 20's tonight so may have some left in the morning. Snow is so rare and according to other posts in our area, hasn't snowed since 1989/90 winter and even then I don't remember it snowing this much. I have heard we had between 3-5 inches.
