My new lifestyle.

I'm a 23 year old mom of two, ready to get back my body that I once had. With my second child I got up to 200 pounds on my 5'5 frame , and now i'm considered obess. I want to be skinny but most important i want to be healthy, so i'm around a long time for my kids. I'm so ready for a new life and to actually feel good about who I am inside and out. This is going to be the year I reach all my goals, I just Know I can do it, Now that I have this great website and the support of all you out there, ...

My Goals:
I want to start portion control and to add more veggies and fruits to my diet( aka lifestyle) I hate the word diet.
For the year 2010, I want that flat stomach that i've always dreampt about. This is my goal and I'm ready to conquer it like never before. Also, want to be a better Mother and Spouse.

My Program:
I'm following the food pyramid to help me with portion control and to make sure I'm getting all the nutrients my body needs. For the activity part, I'm getting up at six am to work out on my total gym for an hour and then go for a 1 to 2 hr walk/Jog, just about every day. If I don't do both, I at least do one every single day.

Personal Information:
My name is Tiffany and I'm from Warden, Wa. Its a small town, not much to do or see, so its kinda of a boring place to go out and exercise, but the amount of sun we get here encourages me to go out and get some exercise. My email is n3wmommy07@hotmail.com

Other Information:
I enjoy reading love stories and fiction books. I also enjoy scrapbooking and dancing. I want to take up Tennis this summer and see how I like that, it sounds fun. Still have yet to pick up Tennis(Maybe summer of 2010 will be the year).

Greetings Tiffany!

Wow! The weekend is here again. It comes round quick but I'm not complaining. I have plenty of jobs to do and one of those is SP catch up time. Woo Hoo!

Yesterday we were surprised when we had snowfall. An inch fell in an hour. It was incredible and although it had rained previously the snow was settling on the ground rather quickly.

I went to the doctors yesterday with my shoulder pain and I have been given very strong painkillers. Apparently they make you drowsy so that's not exactly great when I have a race coming up. I might have to start taking them after the race. lol! I'm feeling much better now in my self, thanks for asking. It's the pits when you aren't very well and I do tend to feel sorry for myself. And my 13 year old son was ill too and I felt I wasn't given him enough attention. lol!

So with the snow the race might actually be cancelled. I'll have to wait and see.

How's you healthy life style getting on?

I have bought the spark emoticon I ordered it about a month ago and it took that long for Amazon to send it to me. But it was worth the wait. I've read the first chapter and it is very interesting to read a book of something you have been part of for the past couple of years. This year will be my third SP anniversary. It's great. emoticon

My eating wasn't great yesterday so I have refocused on my short term goals today. It's good to do that every so often.

How's your son and his tantrums? My son used to have about 7 tantrums a day. It was very tiring and wearing. But he really changed as he grew older and all the anger disappeared. Phew! There is 13 and a half months between my daughter and my son and it was like having twins. Change one nappy and then another. I was still berast feeding my son when I fell pregnant with my daughter. That was really tough. I was sapped of energy. I managed to feed him for a further four months before the milk must have changed and he didn't like it any more. lol!

Those were the days. As for being a teacher I would like to teach age 7-11 and that means teaching all subjects, which would be very interesting.

Anyway, I better go and get soem work done.

Thank you for popping by. I enjoy reading your messages! Way to go on your exercising.

My race is not for charity but just for fun. It takes place every year but this is the first time I will run it. I'm slightly nervous since I've been ill today. Had a horrible tummy ache since 4am this morning. Took painkillers went to work. You know how it is. I was only wokring half day today and came home to collaspe on the sofa, weak and tired and sooo cold and shivery! Head is also thumping. Nevermind I hope it goes away quickly. I don't have time to be pooped! (I love your expression).

Presentation went okay and I'm really pleased it is over. I only have one more presentation and essay to write for this year. Next year I have a dissertation to do and then I shall have my degree at long last. Phew! All the hard work will be worth it.

I'm hoping to become a teacher but my favorite job in the world had to be a stay at home mum! I loved that time in my life. Is that what you do???

My hubby is not too supportive - he buys me treats and chocolates! He is very sweet though. lol! I wouldn't swap him for the world. How about your?

Oooooh! Look at you go. You've worked out already today. Well done sweetie. And you like squats! Awesome! I like them too.

My favourite exercise is running and Pilates. I have recently bought a DVD called Pilates for Dummies. I love it. It only takes 35 minutes and is good when you haven't got much time.

Tomorrow I have a presentation which I am dreading. I'm really nervous about it. At the same time I have to hand in an essay that I feel isn't up to scratch and all these thoughts are like a whirlwind zooming about my head and making me dizzy. I am soooo looking forward to it being over tomorrow night.

Yes, I will take more pics when I reach a good weight once again. As I'm sitting here I'm aware that my tummy bulge is disappearing. It's a lovely feeling and will help to keep me focused on my birthday goal. It's the best present I could give myself.

Lol! That pic was taken of me about two years ago. If I breathe in I can almost look like that now! It gives me the inspiration to know I can achieve weight loss again. In fact if I lose another 5 lbs I will be at that weight again. Yes, having that as a goal is a good one. Flat tummys feel so toned and lovely and don't flop about it bed. lol! Go for it girlie. You can do this!

Well done for making those healthy choices to go along with your pizza. That's brill.

Yesterday was a great day for me. I managed to stay on track and eat sensibly. I also went for a 6 mile run which was good. It's the second run since Christmas. We had loads of snow which stayed on the pavements for ages and I refused to run on the ice, just in case something happened.
