Hello! I have been Sparking for about 5 years... I live in BC, Canada with my boyfriend of 15 years we were JUST recently engaged) and our 10 year old (Bailey). I also have a twenty-four year old (Nadine).
I'm an illustrator and avid motorcycle enthusiast and I have recently earned my certificate in Nutritional Consulting and Creative Children's Writing. I hope to be writing/illustrating a children's book (possibly a cookbook) in the near future.

As far as I'm concerned, it is time to be hard on myself... and get healthy. No wishy washy stuff. Just get up, move it, and lose some weight. That's it!
BOOTCAMP!!!
I completed the P90X, TurboFire, INSANITY and Cathe's STS programs, and have been doing a lot of Cathe Friedrich workouts, and a lot of cardio.
I'm currently doing the P90X 3 program and enjoying it very much!
I am also a HUGE fan of CLEAN EATING, the Warrior Diet and the Paleo/Primal Lifestyle.

My Goals:
I've lost 50 pounds with Sparkpeople. Then gained it all back. I suspect I'm insulin resistant. So, after adopting a VLC paleo lifestyle, I'm about halfway back down to my goal again.

My Program:
My current program consists of eating a clean paleo diet, a whole lotta cardio, and a challenging strength training routine, using dumbells, barbell, resistance tubing, medicine balls and body weight.
I try to do a different rotation every week (I get bored easily).
I do a lot of Cathe workouts, and I have done the P90X (doubles) program twice. I also enjoy Turbo Fire.
I am currently doing the P90X 3 program and enjoying it very much!


Personal Information:
I am an airbrush artist and an illustrator. I have just finished taking a Creative Children't Writing course and would love to write and illustrate a children't book.
I love riding my motorcycle, camping, cooking, reading, working out and shopping.
I live in BC, Canada.

Other Information:
I love Stephen King books, Quentin Tarantino movies and many genres of music (but mostly Jack White!)

You are here!! emoticon I am doing awesome thanks...now that I don't have to babysit so much and mom moved in with my sister to be closer to the hospital and I am not sick!! LIFE issssss GREAT! emoticon I am feeling more like myself with every workout I do emoticon How are you?? Still working out with Cathe? I started to use my spin bike yesterday and that thing is killing me...love it!!

Hi Laura, how are you? I hope all is well with you and your family.

I just wanted to stop by to check on you. I am doing a 90 rotation with the new P90 series. It is a beginner workout to prep for P90X or not. But the workouts are very doable and shorter in duration, around 30 minutes, for strength and cardio. Ab workouts average 8 - 15 minutes. Still working on the nutritional part, but I'll get there.
