Back at it and more determined than ever!

THIS TIME....

I will:

Eat breakfast, everyday
Get on the treadmill at least 5 days a week
Care about myself as much as I do my family
Not give up when I stumble
Know that I'm making progress, even if it's slow
Not beat myself up for being a slow loser.
Focus on how great it will feel when I reach my goal
Recognize that it's difficult, but not impossible
Not compare myself to others
Remember to be proud of EVERY ...

My Goals:
I'm hoping to lose 6 lbs per month, for 5 months in a row, for a total loss of 30 lbs.

I know that sounds ridiculously slow, but at my age, upper 40's, it's as high as I can goal set realistically. My metabolism is like sludge anymore...it'll happen as long as I stay focused, motivated, eat right, and exercise consistently.

My Program:
1,200 - 1300 cals a day, under 35gms of fat. Exercise at least 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Drink at least 8 large waters a day.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. I read on your page that you "recognize that it's difficult, but not impossible." How right you are! I know first hand how difficult and slow weight loss is for those of us who are over thirty. I also know that it CAN be done with work, with perseverance and with an unwavering belief in our abilities to accomplish anything we set our minds to. Give it your all, work at it every day and keep your eye on the prize! The rewards are well-worth the effort...
