I have been with sparks now since February 09. I am a 47 year old female currently working as a community nurse, I enjoy helping people. I am a private person who enjoys exercise, photography and having fun. I have a wonderful husband and a daughter who is 16 . I have been fighting with my weight since my daughter was born. I guess you can call me a yo yo dieter. This year I am trying something new I am changing my lifestyly to a healthier happier life. I have started eating clean foods and trying to eliminate all the chemicals and processed foods from my diet. I am no longer dieting just eating good healthy foods. I have tried many other programs but I guess never really took it as a life style change and the weight always crept back on. I have always worked out at a gym and tried to stay physically fit, but somehow it never became a habit. Now I am doing exercise everyday as part of my daily routine, just like showering or getting dressed. I break it up into small steps . As soon as I get up I grab water and do a 20 minute circuit training and then I am set to have shower and start my day. I later add more cardio and some weight training or yoga. I have already noticed an increase in energy and my clothes are starting to fit much better. I have actually stopped weighing myself as so many people get so caught up on the numbers. I am hoping that this is my last change. One I will carry through for the rest of my life and my daughter will also carry on with hers.

June 1: There is no such thing as wasted love.
Living Your Yoga: When a relationship ends, one or both parties may feel that their love was "wasted." But love can never be wasted; it is embedded in our being and fuels us through our whole life. Right now, spend a moment and feel gratitude for all the love you have given and all the love you have received.
June 2: To live with courage is the highest form of practice.
Living Your Yoga: It is interesting that both love and courage are said to reside in the heart. When we live by consciously choosing courage, we express life's spirit. Today express your courage by choosing something difficult to say or do. It need only be a small thing, but it will open your heart.
June 3: Security doesn't exist.
Living Your Yoga: We all long for security: from loneliness, from fear, from illness. Yet the great irony is that nothing is secure enough to last, even with the best planning. Sit quietly for a few minutes. Inhale slowly, and as you exhale let yourself settle into the awareness that all is fleeting. This awareness is the only security.
June 4: True freedom can never be taken away.
Living Your Yoga: Even if you are in jail, your inner freedom lives. Today when you hear yourself saying you are "stuck" in some way, remember that true freedom can never be touched.
June 5: Growing old is not a mistake.
Living Your Yoga: We live in a youth-oriented culture. We are given the message that growing old is to be avoided. Today celebrate your age, whatever it is. (If it's your birthday, Happy Birthday!)
June 6: Am I lovable? How I answer this question will affect me every day.
Living Your Yoga: Today when you lie in Savasana (Basic Relaxation Pose), remind yourself that you are the product of the love of the Universe. See this in yourself and see it in others throughout the day.
June 7: Our commitment is to the process, not the goal.
Living Your Yoga: Commitment to a goal can make us rigid. Instead, recommit today to the process of getting to your goal. This commitment to process will allow new information to shape your learning on the way to your goal.

Why Women Cry”
A little boy asked his mother,
