My mission is to make the above a reality. After losing 35+ pounds on Weight Watchers 1-1/2 years ago, I gained back 10 - which on my body is a lot, and translates into one size up (after going down 2 sizes). Needless to say, this is unacceptable to me and after struggling to get into my "skinnier" clothes, I am now determined to not only get back to where I was in mid-2007, but lose a total of 50 pounds and gain tight, shapely muscle. My mission is to make the above a reality. After losing 35+ pounds on Weight Watchers 1-1/2 years ago, I gained back 10 - which on my body is a lot, and translates into one size up (after going down 2 sizes). Needless to say, this is unacceptable to me and after struggling to get into my "skinnier" clothes, I am now determined to not only get back to where I was in mid-2007, but lose a total of 50 pounds and gain tight, shapely muscle. Right now I am in week 4 of my mission and things were going great, until I incurred a stress fracture in my foot from running (on top of my existing problem with plantar fasciitis - the reason that I had to scrap my workout program in the past). However, I'm determined to stay the course and NEVER give up, so my challenge is to find ways to stay fit and active while I am off my feet. My plan includes tightening up my diet a bit more by incorporating more veggies, fruits and lean protein, and continuing my upper body weight training and adding pilates to help strengthen my core and legs. My short term goal is to lose at least 12 pounds by the second week of December.
