I was going to delete my previous intros. Then I realized that they are about my journey. I cannot delete the past like it doesn't exist. I can learn from it and move forward!

This year I WILL see my goal of 130 pounds!!

This year I WILL be able to run again!

This year I WILL manage stress better!

Okay, here I am today thinking, am I ever going to see my goal. What is my goal? Is it a number on a scale? No, the true goal is to find what makes me feel good and makes me happy!

I want to comfortably wear a size 4.
I want to be toned.
I want to be able to run again.

I think that's enough for now! I'm going to start focusing on these instead of just what's on the scale. However, the scale wasn't nice this morning.

Goal weight: 130

Goal size: 4/6

It's a mighty big word! Have you ever thought about how this can change your life?

Today, May 12, 2014 - I am forgiving myself for everything. I have had an unhealthy relationship with food but you know what, it brought me to this place. I am here today to say that I'm letting go. I am moving forward from today. I cannot dwell on the past. I cannot dwell on any previous relationship that aided in emotional eating. I have loving family; a loving husband and I need to love myself.

I have good qualities and I need to focus on those from here on out:

- I have a big heart
- I have a nice smile
- I love my long, thick hair
- I have strong legs to get me where I need to be

Forgiving myself for any previous mistakes and moving forward.

Weight Loss Journey 2.0
- Try to keep my calories between 1200-1500 with one day to enjoy anything I want without guilt

- Walk 2-3 times a week

- Do resistance band exercises 2 times a week

I love to try new healthy recipes.

I love to hang out with my amazing husband.

I love to curl up and read a good book anytime.

I love to watch t.v.

Becky, you are so sweet and thoughtful to think of me with the goodie!! Thanks for your support and encouragement. I'm starting a new challenge in a couple of days and I'm the only one that can make it happen. And my wonderful friends here, like you. I hope that you always know that I'm always rooting for you, even though I feel so lax at it. I'm always thinking of you and with us both struggling these days, we can both help each other pick ourselves out of the pit too. Have I told you that I joined a fitness center and am swimming 2-3x/week? I mainly had to think of something besides walking because my Rheumy told me that I had to come up with something else besides walking because my feet are so bad with RA and OA. So this is why for the swimming and I absolutely adore it! I crave to be there when I can't so that tells you something, doesn't it? They say to find an exercise that you love, so I did. I try to spend at least an hr. swimming and an hr. is better than anything I can do any other exercise! It's warm water and such a good therapy for my joints. Loving you dear, Karen
