keep going! when i first joined spark, in the first 6 weeks i only lost 1 pound. no joke. i had a trainer and even was stumped. but i kept going knowing that going back to my old ways definitely wasn't going to help me lose more. the following 4 weeks it all clicked and i lost 13 lbs at the end of the 10 weeks.
i did the jumpstart 4-day diet and i must have been eating like crap filled with sodium because i lost 2.8 lbs after the first day and another 1.2 after the following 3 days. it was really hard to stick to that plan though and i was so sore after 3 days i couldn't work out on day 4. since then i've only lost 0.8 but im not gonna quit. 1684 days ago
i'm starting the firm express tomorrow. congrats on doing the first day today! i'm excited to start working out again. i hope dieting doesn't get the best of me again. i started the jumpstart diet but by the end of the first day i was ready to binge from feeling so restricted. i did lose 2.6 lbs that night though from water weight and sodium i'm assuming.
i'll check in tomorrow to see how you're doing! 1695 days ago
As Dr. Phil so often says, "This ain't my first rodeo." I too have done this before, many times. I don't think I BELIEVED that "it's not about losing weight as much as it's about committing to a lifestyle change." I have found out the hard way, that the lifestyle change has to be a life-long commitment. Congratulations for not giving up on yourself. I wish you luck! 1903 days ago
