Jennifer's done being fat!

The big 3-0 is now less than 3 months away. I HAVE to get myself looking better by then. I don't want to start a new decade feeling horrible about myself.

Short Term Goals..

~ Exercise 3 days a week

... Additional exercise will be totally acceptable of course.

~ Meal plan

... Having set plans keeps me from taking the lazy route and eating out or ordering delivery. It also keeps food waste down which in turn saves money.

My Goals:
Short term: Exercise 3 days week

Eat healthy - Fruit, Veggies, Fish, Turkey, and Chicken

Long Term: Wear my size 12 clothes.

Fitness Goals:
Spark-a-Delic 5k ~ 8.13.11
NorCal Warrior Dash ~ 10.29.11
Scheels Turkey Trot ~ 11.24.11

My Program:
Exercise! I'm getting off my ass, keeping myself out of the fridge, and away from the junk food. I've got a gym membership and I use the elliptical, stationary bike, and treadmill (typically at an incline). I also have Jillian Michaels DVDs that I have begun rotating in when the gym gets monotonous. I also take walks around my neighborhood, with my family on the weekend, and go to Aquacise classes at my local pool.

Personal Information:
I'm a (once again) stay at home mom to two beautiful girls, girlfriend to a wonderful man, and I'm too young to be this unhealthy. I WILL look good to *myself* again.

Other Information:
I'm a smart ass. I try to find humor in everything. I have a weakness for sushi, good pizza, In-n-Out Burger, and chocolate. I love movies, music, photography, and pottery. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

Hey,
Thanks for the info. I have thought about getting a subscription to Clean Eating. I have bought 2 issues and really liked them too. I have made three recipes from them and even my fiance liked them.I think it would be worth it to buy a subscription. I'll look on Amazon for the Eating Well, magazine.

I just found Jamie Oliver's new magazine at our book store. It's great. I don't know if you like Jamie, but he cook's very healthy dishes. Some of them are pretty clean, although he doesn't aim to. The downside to it, is it's printed in the U.K. and is $10 an issue, $54 for a 1 year(7 issues) subscription ! I just got the first issue because I have been wanting it so badly, that Bruce said I should get it and check it out.

Thanks! MucinexD is my friend so it's helping. Did you see my comment about Yoga Meltdown about soreness? Just in case you missed it I replied: I just mean sore in places I'm not used to being sore, like I got a great workout sore. It's not like the first time I did Shred and felt like I couldn't move. It'll be okay, you can do it!
