I've always been able to maintain a fairly healthy weight through my diet and regular exercise. But I want healthy habits and exercise to be lifelong part of me. I have found I enjoy running, the feeling of a good sweat, and cooking a meal that I know is good for me. Now I want to maintain a body size that I feel best in, because weight isn't as important as the way I feel! I want to stay healthy and active, and live as a good example of healthy living!
Begin cooking meat 5 days/week or less.
Exercise to the point of sweating/elevated heart rate 3 times/week.
Track food/fitness consistently.
Post to my cooking blog at least once a week with healthy new recipes: http://collegeapprovedfood.blogspot.com/
Share my goals and knowledge with people around me, build my support group.
Fit into my wardrobe for the next 50 years!
I recently joined my campus gym, and hopefully with the help of several friends who are also members, I will work out 3-5 times per week!
MWF - Run 3 miles, 30-60 minutes of cardio or ST
TR - Group fitness class/cross-training
Sat/Sun - active rest, walk, hiking
