One Step At A Time!

My name is Amanda & I joined spark people to reach my goal weight once and for all. I've always been the "fat girl" of the group, or the biggest one in my group of friends. I got down to my lowest (160 lbs.) in 2007, but then I met my boyfriend! I packed on about 30 pounds of happy fat during our relationship.

UPDATE January '09: I am now down to the size I was when me and my boyfriend first met!

UPDATE May '09: OMG, where has the time gone?? This year feels like it is just flying by! One reason for it could be that I feel I completely LOST a whole two months out of my life:( March & April were the worst months, and I can honestly say I was not a very good role model for sparkpeople! I've gained about 12 pounds (GASP!) in just those two months, and am finally back in the right frame of mind to do it again. I can now say from first hand that gaining weight is much easier (and tastier!) than trying to lose it!

UPDATE August '09: I'm back on Spark and ready to start over! These past 5 months have been a whirlwind, and I've fallen off the wagon more times than I can count. I'm ready to start fresh and continue working on MYSELF. I have a couple new blogs, and new goals for everyone to view. *Today is the first day of the rest of my life*


I'm doing this mostly to learn to love myself & as my mom says, "to see myself the way others see me"- not as fat, but beautiful.

GOALS for NOW

1. Lose 45 pounds (this number will fluctuate depending on how I feel at goal)
2. Feel GREAT in my own skin
3. Size 6/8 pant
4. Exercise at least 30 min/day, 3-4 times/week
5. Do not beat myself up for bad days and, or, if I don't exercise 3-4 times/week
6. TONE & TIGHTEN
7. Bikini body ready

Happy Tuesday.
Yesterday is past. You can not do anything to change what was or was not done. The future can only be dreamt about. You can only change today. What are you willing to do today to reach your goals of tomorrow?

Think about what your goals are. Are you getting there? Are you doing everything you can to get there? If not, why not. There are only as many hours in the day as we make use of. If we waste them, they are gone forever. Just something to think about.
