New Beginnings

here's the short and skinny (pun MOST certainly intended):

It's time to stop effing around and get this thing DONE.
Not close, not almost, not good enough but really, truly, totally DONE.

Simple goals:
Jog 2 days/week
Strength Train + extra cardio 3 days/week
minimum 8 glasses water/day
1200-1500 calories/day

Back to basics.
Let's get it.

My Goals:
Extended Active Life - I dont want to be able to cheer at my kids football games...I want to be able to cheer at my grandkids, and great grandkids!

Set a Good Example -
I don't want my children to have to struggle with their weight because they weren't taught healthy food choices growing up.

Improved self confidence - I want to be able to walk the beach in a bikini (of the itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny variety) and not try to cover up.

Health - I just want to feel good and know that I'm treating my body the way it should be treated for a long life of happiness.


My Program:
I THINK about what I eat. I think about what my food choices can do for my body. I think about what's in my food and whether or not I need it.

I try to stay within SPs recommended calorie intake to lose 1 pound per week.

Other Information:
