My name is Erin and I am currently in my junior year at Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, CT. At SHU I'm in the Social Work program. This semester I am starting my first internship. It is going to be hard and my schedule will be very hectic so I am hoping that SP will be able to help me maintain my goals of becoming healthier and maintaining my lifestyle. My name is Erin and I am currently in my junior year at Sacred Heart University in Bridgeport, CT. At SHU I'm in the Social Work program. This semester I am starting my first internship. It is going to be hard and my schedule will be very hectic so I am hoping that SP will be able to help me maintain my goals of becoming healthier and maintaining my lifestyle. However, despite the harsh semester to come I have never felt as confident in my plan for the future as I do now. I am excited to become a social worker and work with new people, all who need help in some way. I cannot wait to start working with other people in the world who try to make the lives of the less fortunate at least a little bit better.

I grew up in CT on the shoreline moving to and from different towns every couple of years. I love where I grew up and my family and I find that if I am not anywhere near a body of water something is wrong. It is a disposition I think I will have to deal with my whole.

About two years ago I joined Weight Watchers. With that program I lost 35 lbs. I'm so proud of myself for doing it but I still have weight to lose. I know that I can do it; I just need a little more motivation and I've always known that to get something accomplished I need a set goal and plan.

I have a blood disorder that affects my sensitivity to sunlight (EPP) so I can't go to the beach as much as everybody else but I made it my New Year's goal to do more of the things I love outdoors like hiking. This is a great way to not only experience the outdoors and stay in the shade but also to stay in shape.

My Goals:
My main goal is of course to lose weight. However, it is most important to maintain my weight and a healthy lifestyle. Also, I would like to start participating in more outdoor activities. I've made it a goal to get myself a pair of rollerblades, seeing as they are a great source of exersize, and to start hiking more.

Personal Information:
My name is Erin. I am a swim instructor/lifeguard at the local YMCA which is my second home. I am a student at Sacred Heart where I am in the Social work program. I am in my 3rd year at SHU and I will be starting my first of two internships this comming semester.

This is a great place to find the encouragement, resources, and support you need... if you can control yourself, lol... I could spend all day on here (and have!) I did Weight Watchers too, and found that I really liked this, because it was daily, not just weekly... and it's FREE! Can't get much better than that! Well, I hope to see you on the boards!
