Guess it' s time to update my info. When I started Spark I was just about to turn 60 and weighed 190 or so. I'm now 62 and holding pretty steady between 163 & 165. Haven't reached my goal of 155 but did get down to 157 for almost a month. Of course, I haven't been doing all the things I did when I first started. Still need to work on turning those things into daily habits but I am a "work in progress" and in much better condition physically than I was when I started. Taking it day by day ...

I appreciate your support. It's so strange to walk away from a home and a day-to-day life that I put 15 years into, but on the other hand I was trying to live in denial of things. I just need to ride this out for a while until it becomes my new normal.

Thank you for the flowers! Things are a little crazy for me right now, I'm separating from my husband and moving to the city, but I'll write about it all soon.

Thanks for reading my "whiny" blog. The knee does feel better. Will get back to exercises tomorrow, but, not quite so vigorous until Saturday. Thanks for reminding me to be patient. Have a great "Mother's Day weekend!

Thank you for the holiday wishes. I hope yours were great. I stopped tracking for a few months so I've spent very little time on this site. I didn't gain weight, but I'm ready to push for another 10 lbs now so I'll be on here a lot more.

Also, I see in your comments something about sinus headaches. Have you ever heard of Alkalol? It's a sinus wash with herbal oils in it that you use like a netti pot but much simpler, I use it straight out of the bottle and the applicator is smaller and easier. I use this pretty much every day and have stopped needing antibiotics for sinus infections. You might want to check it out. It's in drugstores and Walmart, some drugstores you have to ask for it behind the counter.

Been reading the reviews of Into the Woods and they say it hasn't been ruined, and that Steven Sondheim and James Lapine worked on it, so I've decided to give it a try. Waiting to see it with my daughter, who was raised on it. I taped it off the tv when she was little and we watched it many times.
