Hi there...I saw your post in what's for dinner tonight in the Spark cafe.
Do you own a crockpot? I have a few...and I love them!
Anyway, if you do have a crockpot, you should try 3 envelope chicken.
What you'll need:
***1 pound chicken (skinless, boneless breasts/thighs/tenders - whatever you prefer) ***1 packet dry chicken gravy ***1 packet dry alfredo sauce ***1 packet either dry ranch dressing or dry italian dressing (I use the dry ranch) ***1 cup water
Add everything to the crockpot in the morning, cook on low all day (for at least 8 hours). I also add little potatoes at the beginning so they cook in the juices and get nice and tender. But you can serve over rice if you prefer. I also sometimes will add frozen brocolli towards the end (about an hour before you're ready to eat).
I haven't done the nutritional break down, but I don't think it's that high in calories or fat and it's very yummy and doesn't take much effort. =]
I have quite a few crockpot (and regular) recipes if you ever want any more ideas...
Congrats on your (more than) 10lb weight loss so far! My current weight/starting number is the same as yours was, and we have the same goal. Hopefully I can stick up to my goals and meet you at the end ! :) 1954 days ago
I LOVE LOVED LOVED Kettle Bells. I felt like my whole body was worked. I used the lightest weights so I could get the movements down but today I am very sore. I think I will continue with this because it is like a fun way to lift, and I am awful at lifting continuously. Tell me how you like it if you try it, I definitely think it depends on how good your instructor is too. 1966 days ago
