Hello! My name is Jenn. I am a native of South Dakota and have lived in Sioux Falls for 20 years. I have really struggled with losing weight and keeping it off over the last few years. Am grateful for the Spark which will help me to focus on my health.
Exercises that I enjoy are water exercise, walking, hiking, strength training with weights/dumbells/bands/bosu/fit ball, bicycling, eliptical cross trainers and love to stretch.
Am looking forward to getting to know everyone!
*EAGLECREEK..I chose this screen name after hiking the hiking trail in Eaglecreek , Oregon in 1995..it is so beautiful. Having this screen name reminds me to get outdoors, exercise and enjoy what God has created.
Weight loss goal at this time is to lose 75 pounds. Once goal is meet, I will decide how much more needs to be lost.
Motivational/Support goals are to spend time on spark as often as I can.
I love to cook/bake and I need to take the time to prepare meals.

I am just getting back into a regular routine and being involved on spark.
I was a dental assistant for 10 years and needed to find a new career because of allergies/asthma.
I have been a specialty pharmacy technician for 4 years.
I have siblings that live in California and Washington State.
Hobbies: knitting, reading historical non iction/fiction and enjoy several other creative endeavors.
I enjoy being outdoors, music, movies, theater, BBC, plays, outdoor concerts, spending time with friends and family.

Hi Jenn, Sorry to have lasted so long to write back. That's what we are all here for to help each other, I like encouraging people who are where I was at, at on time, I know it helped me lots to get people to encourage me, I did reach my goal and now what I'm focused on is maintaining and tone up. It's hard to tone up because I have Arthritis and I hurt lots when I do my ST, so I know it's going to be a very long process. Thanks for the congrats it was hard work but well worth it, I am so happy with my self now the toning is what's upsetting me a bit. It does feel real good after we do our workouts doesn't it? ;-)... I never thought it would me be doing this and I love it. Well, nice hearing from you. Keep up the good work. Hope you have a Great Valentines day. You take care. (Hugs)

Thank you so much for your kind words today and for your prayers! We have an Our Savior's here. My family might just check it out. It is always so hard when searching for a new church. I did have a lot of temptation this weekend, because we ate out for almost every meal. This is unusual for my family, but we were so busy running errands that it was just easier to grab something then to go home and cook. I am going to try to stay on track the rest of this week. Thank you again!

Hi Jenn, Welcome to the Treadmill Ect. Team. Congrats on the wt. you've lost so far. My goal was to lose 70 pounds and I've lost 74 with SP. You can do this always have that on mind. Good luck and best wishes.
