A Season of Hope & Gratitude

The main thing I have learned from SparkPeople is to take things slow. It is such a simple lesson it is an easy one to skip over, not even realizing sometimes that that is what is happening.

2015. Slow down, utilize the lessons taught and learned, and live in the moment. Appreciate the time God has given us on this planet. Appreciate family, friends, sufferings and things we wonder what we did to deserve them.

Thanks for the hot cocoa sparkgoodie! They did serve some after our adventures but my daughter and I excused ourselves to get our own snacks from the car, and then left the event site. I finally got some coffee at Dunkin Donuts about an hour later. :-)

We were supposed to get snow, sleet, and freezing rain, but so far we only had a light drizzle of rain....hope it passes us by. How about your weather today.

I'll have to try cocoa and coffee. I've tried cinnamon and coffee - nice change.

I've joined the snailmail revolution - a good luck card for Tuesday and an anniversary card for whenever the 6th is - already posted!

Hope your Saturday is off to a great start. I shopped in the drizzle and now the wind is up but regardless, it's a non-working day - wonderful...

I wasn't clear... I'm visiting in Maryland with my daughter's family, but I LIVE in south Texas, where snow is a truly rare event, though it HAS happened in the last twenty years... Being in MD with lots so snow is an eye-opener!

But I DO own a snow shovel that I bought at Harbor Freight.... I use it for moving mulch in the garden! emoticon
