I'm a 27 year old professional. Engaged with no children and I want to be healthy and happy.

In December of 2012 and have started taking my health very seriously. I've started cardio interval training as well as stregnth training and eating much MUCH better than I used to. Because of this I feel better and have more engery. I also sleep better and feel more accomplished at the end of my days.

My goals are to get down to a healthy weight of 150lbs and to run my first 5K ...

I'm using SP to read aticles to educate myself on the ins and outs of a healthy lifestyle. I'm using the trackers to track my food, exercise and weight and I'm using this page, the forums and blogs to help motivate myself and hopefully others!

Thank you for the encouraging words on my blog and on my Sparkpage. I think I am destined to never be able to jog due to being so out of breath and in mild pain. Sigh....maybe I do have asthma...but just so glad it is not my heart!

They just put the equipment in a few months ago. I'm very new to this as is everyone else in the class. Our instructor challenges us, but she also shows us how to modify the positions. That's the good thing about TRX, you can modify each workout simply by changing the severity of your body angle(i.e, need less weight, take a step back. Need more weight, take a step in). It's becoming more and more popular. Hopefully you can find a gym that has it :)
