I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 20 minutes a day on the elliptical and 20-30 minutes with DVD cadio exercises. I also lift weights with exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

Oh my good place to do those exercises..if you fell you wouldn't get hurt emoticon emoticon

Oh my that is cold...yeah dishes just no end to them.

You might need a day off to rest your body from exercises....you never ever rest even when your sick...you just might be burnt out...I decided on Friday to just rest my body and do that leg workout today...I feel so much bette...I am tired though because I went to bed soooooo late last night...good grief it was like 3:30 a.m. nasty won't be doing that again! But will be getting in my leg workout for sure today! Might use a little lighter weights being so tired...but will do it!!

Ah snow...YUCK!

lol us too...hot then cold...and so on.

Lol did you finish up your workout after your nap? I will be doing another short workout htis evening was going to do sts disc 6 but I am feeling way to burnt out so I will just do Piyo lower body tonight. lol good job on cleaning...I just finished cleaning. lol the other day I was washing dishes while my grandson was over and he wanted me to do something and I said wait until the dishes are done then I can help you. and he said...nana its not Friday house cleaning why are you cleaining emoticon lol can you imagine how many dishes would pile up if I only did dishes once every other week?? Lol good gravy....hows your energy today?
