I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 20 minutes a day on the elliptical and 20-30 minutes with DVD cadio exercises. I also lift weights with exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

Today I did Cathe's Ripped With Hiit/Low IMpact HiiT...another very fun and awesome workout! I must say I really do like this set its awesome so far emoticon

Lol I am still sore from Mondays upper body workout...and now my lower body is hurting emoticon How was your day?

Hi Kim checking in with my workout...todays workout was a Your tube workout- Cardio Step: 30 Minute Interval Workout by Fit Outside the Box with Karla....loved it! I was soooo very tired from a restless sleep that this workout fit my mood perfectly! LOVED IT!!!!! lol emoticon

emoticon glad you got working dvds...I would be so lost without one!

Awesome going on doing P90!! And it is short but it makes you work! Which one did you do today?
