My Goals:
--Whittle down inches off my body for comfort.
--This means getting to a healthy weight, but not focusing on weight alone.
--Re-learn self-control and healthy moderation without feeling deprived.

My Program:
--Work-out at least four times per week.
--Healthier in-between meal snacks.
--One SMALL piece of chocolate at work, if any allowed.
--One dessert per day (small).
--Moderation (Lifestyle Diet).

Personal Information:
Just a midwestern gal living in the South for the past eight years. I have a hubby, two cats, and a sparkling personality ;-)

Thank you for your incredibly sweet comment on my blog. It's so nice to have someone to cheer me on! I'm not incredibly concerned about my vacation because I already assume I'll probably gain some during that time. But if I can do better than I did before, that's progress, right? So with ample opportunities to overindulge, I'm going to see just how much I can listen to my body's cues when enough is enough. I will certainly feel better about myself if I'm not feeling stuffed all the time.

Okay, so the new gym has spinning classes ALL the time. I walked by one on Sunday and it looked pretty cool. My question: do I just show up? Do I need to know anything? Will I be able to make it through a class? It says "cycling shoes optional", so I can just wear my regular sneakers? Do they ask if you are a newbie? I'm scared!!! (but also excited)

Hey! Thanks for always checking in on me when I'm always MIA on sparkpeople. I should add you on facebook or IG so I can actually attempt to stay in touch! lol How are you doing? I haven't been on because honestly...I've not been keeping up with what I eat or exercising. This school year has been a whirlwind & I will very much enjoy my holiday break! Gotta get through this week, & 4.5 more days the next week. I thought this school year would be much easier than last, but that's not been the case, mostly because...I'm pregnant! :) I would've loved to lose the weight first, but we were trying & everything worked out anyways. I'll be 18wks this Thursday & we find out what we're having the 23rd. So far, despite being overweight, all tests have been great, including my glucose reading. For being an overweight person, I've always had pretty top notch health :) But anyways, what have you been up to? How has the weight loss journey been?
