hello everyone !!!! I just wanted to update my profile a little bit!!!! We have been in Nashville for almost a year now. I must say moving here was exciting at first. A new place, new people...but that quickly got old. I wanted to go home. I didn't want to live here anymore. I knew that would not work. If I moved back home, I would fall right back into my old comfortable life. I would not workout, I would drink , I would go out to eat all of the time..because that is what I did at home. I didn't practice good habits. I am turning this move into a journey for my health and for my family. I am fighting battles with myself that before I didn't even think about. I have more time to focus on myself here. Over all this is a great thing for me , even if I don't think so at times. If I do get home's only a 3 hour drive.
update about me 03/21/2015
So I didn't want to erase the top section but I thought I would update it instead. So my family and I moved to Nashville , TN on June 2,2014. We really like living here. I didn't at first and I think that is pretty normal not to except change right away. We have to grow into our changes in life. I am still overweight and still at it. I have given up multiple times in my life. I have said I wouldn't give up multiple times in my life. Since moving to Nashville my family and I have made major changes in our lives. Living back in Memphis, we fell into the same routines and made the same mistakes over and over. I'm not blaming these mistakes on living there, but living in a totally different environment gives me a chance to start over and make the changes toward being a better person!!!! I embrace change and think it's a good thing to change whether it be your friends, your job, your routine, or even something as simple as changing a room around at your house. I personally think it's great that we change day to day for the better. It keeps life fresh and new and we learn from change. So,here we are in our new city and learning from one another and becoming a stronger family.

My Goals:
short term goals include for one straight minute while walking, cut out over eating when I get off work, work out 4 days a week.

long term goals .....lose 150 lbs, become a runner, wear a single digit pair of pants and a size med shirt by 2016.

My Program:
stay in my calorie range that I have on app on my phone, write in my journal at least 3 times a week, participate in my water in motion class 3 times a week, ride the range 30 minute spin class two times a week, kickboxing once a week, and walking outdoors with my pups and daughter 2 times a week, seems like a lot but it's really not when you add everything up .

My name is Donna Pfohl. I have been married for almost 4years and I have a two year old daughter. We are getting ready to move from Memphis to Nashville over the next few months. I have been in battle with myself for years now with my weight issue. I grew up thinking I really didn't have a problem because it wasn't a big deal in my home. My mom didn't force diet food down my throat or even lead on that I had a weight issue. It wasn't until middle school that I became aware of my own issue. It was really hard to face this problem alone let alone get help with it..Kind of hard to eat right when you are staring down a bag of doritos and eating sandwiches loaded with mayo and on white bread. Being a mother now I know that I will make different choices for my daughter. I am also making different choices for my family. My husband and I are both overweight and we are taking this one day at a time. We have already made big changes in our lives. We will continue this journey together.
