I've been offline for quite a few months now. It just seemed like too much to trak everything while I was trying to figure out how to change my habits to accommodate my thyroid. I havent' really changed much in terms of how much I eat, but still the weight creeps back up.

I think it's the exercise - don't have time for 90 minutes a day, which is what I need to lost weight. But it's heavy gardening season now until the rain stops, so I have a lot to do each day outside. For now, ...

My Goals:
Short term:

Eat right at least 6 days out of 7 every week, and when in doubt, still count the calories.

Exercise 6 days out of 7, at least one hour each day between strength work and cardio.




My Program:
Don't overcommit.

Exercise each day, even if only for a while.

Maek smart food choices each day.

Reduce stress and take time for me.

SEEK BALANCE!!!

Personal Information:
We live in the mountains in northern California. I work from home, and I have no excuse not to spend part of each day outdoors!

We became SparkPeople friends awhile ago. It seems we have a lot in common. I also stopped tracking and learned that I have no self-control. My weight keeps creeping up and up and up. I also have thyroid issues. Maybe we can help motivate each other.
