It Is My Time Now

I am making 2014 my year. Now that I am retired I can focus on my health and fitness goals. I can sleep better and best of all, no more stress from work.

39 years in the nursing profession has taken it's toll, arthritis in my knees, bilateral shoulder injuries one of which I am currently being treated for! And of course, lower back.

My focus will be on moving more, strength training and stretching. When my shoulder is completely healed I want to take up yoga. For ...

THank you so much for the comment on my blog! Every encouraging word from everyone here really helps!!! YOu are right about tracking food too because when i did lose the weight to get to 193 I was tracking... It really put what you are eating into perspective! ... Thanks for the tips and I will do this slowly but surely ... One day at a time!!! emoticon
