Hi, I am Sarah. I am 29 years old and live in Maryland, but I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I'm single with no kids, except I have my studly pug who is my best buddy.

I moved to Maryland in January of 2011. It isn't a bad place, just different. I have always been a little heavy, but my office job has assisted in my getting heavier and I decided 1-9-2012 that is had to stop.

In case you missed it in my name, I adore Disney and bright colors. I love all things happy and optimistic. I am a hopeful realist is the best way I can describe my general day to day outlook.

I have bins of clothes hidden under my bed in various sizes, so I am trying to get into the smallest sizes I can (healthy sizes). My secret dream is to one day be able to buy a bikini (okay so it isn't a secret now that I've told my page) but I've always been shy and self-conscious, it would be nice to change it up once ;)

My Goals:
My overall goal is to get to a healthy weight, and learn as much about myself as I can along the way. I have a lot to lose, and numerous ways to grow as a person.

My Program:
2012's MONTHLY GOAL
LIST
JAN. Track nutirion consistantly and become comfortable with sparkpeople.com
FEB. drink 8 glasses of water a day, start adding a new veggie and/or vegige recipe each week
MAR. start using pedometer and go to gym once a week
APR. adjust to new job
MAY Gym twice a week
JUN. Sustain Gym twice a week. Work on "streaks"
JUL.. Get to under 200 pounds by 30th birthday
AUG. use the stairs at work
SEP. Get to Gym/work out 3 times each week
OCT.
NOV.
DEC.

Hi :) Thanks for the goodie. It brought a smile to my face. I have been doing pretty well. I don't use spark as much as I used to but I like to check in and keep track of how everybody is doing. I use My Fitness Pal now to track food and exercise. I find it really helpful to me just like the articles and community on spark are excellent. I am glad you are feeling better after your surgery. It's such a relief isn't it? To be able to eat and function like a normal person.
