I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs. I went to college in Washington, DC, where I got a BA in International Studies focused on the Middle East and Islamic studies. In addition to English, I speak decent French and some Arabic. I'm currently living in Seattle with my husband and working as a non-profit administrator.

Your granola recipe sounds yummy. emoticon I'll probably make it with almonds, since hazelnuts can be a little hard to come by here in in the Midwest.
