I am doing this not to impress others, but to improve myself and my health. I have learned over the years to have the goal of taking take of my health means taking care of ME in a healthy manner and eating with excerise is a large part of that though having my spiritual side and FUN FUN FUN is also a necessary part of life and others in my life to love me is also very important. Live also includes who care about me and ME about THEM. Life is GOOD.
Ask me what a "Wincey" is and I'll tell you what gives me hours of foolish hours of entertainment and joy.
Before joining SP, I had weighed 288 ! Though diet and excerise when I can I've gone down to 183. NOT BAD !!!! 105 !!! WOOOHOOOO !!!!!!

For the Spring challenge:
1) Why I want to lose:
I want to do this for MY health. I was told by my Dr the other day the diabetes is knocking at my door again. I had thought since I had lose now ,,,the total so far of 110 it was gone ! And it HAD been, but now, it MIGHT be back (need blood test) so this SCARES me into ACTION !
2) How do I want to feel?
Better about MYSELF ! Build my selfesteem even more. I am thus so far PROUD of the work I've done so far, and I have been REWARDING myself, but I also reaconize I have another 35lbs to go. That's NOT bad, but still.
3) Want to look?
20 yrs old instead of in my 50s? LOL Well hey that's NOT going to happen ! A girl CAN wish ! Right? Man ! BUT ! I no longer look like I am headed into my 60s b4 my time, now people think I am in my 40s ! WOOHOOO! I just want to fit in with my SKINNY friends !

For the Spring Challenge:
I am following my own diet, cos I am ONE FUSSY person !!!
I eat by textures. If that doesn't make eating hard,,,well hey it does, but it also WORKS !!! Anything is DOABLE !
I'll be excerising with mostly stretches and weights due to a serious foot injury (when I can b4 surgery May 23rd) chair aerobics where I'll be working up a SWEAT cos I go MUCH faster and add in more moves than they do ! LOL ! I'll do the chair excerises on Mon, Weds, Fri and the rest the other day for about 50 to 70 mins each day as my back will tolerate which is also injured.
I WILL support the team with TEAM SPIRIT ! GOOOO Spirited Underdogs !!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!! In the winter challenge we did AMAZINGLY WELL ! Lets DO SO AGAIN !!! WOWZERS !!!!!!!!! I'll be following blogs and watching for those who aren't doing well to encourage them also, we ALL need help !

Was in a wheelchair and told "you will NEVER WALK again" by my Dr, she was WRONG now as of 2/11 I can walk a MILE ! GO ME ! GO ME ! (That was written in the winter of 2011) and now in the spring of 2011 back in the chair, but it's TEMPORRY !
I strongly believe in NEVER Say NEVER cos if you believe in YOU ,,YOU Can do this !!
Recently took up the electric guitar with my granddaughter. SO much FUN !
Life is FUN if that's what you WANT to make it. Never ever give up looking for the positives in it even when your body breaks down or life is handling you the worse circumstastances. One can STILL find something in the WORSE to SMILE about ! HENCE DianeSMILES !
