Hello! I'm Alana. I am a single mom with a six year old daughter who I love more than life itself. I also have about 55 pounds I'd like to get rid of. I have some mental blocks that have kept me from losing weight over the past 1 3/4 years; in fact, I've gained. But a recent blood test showed me that I really need to change my lifestyle or I'm going to get myself into some serious health trouble.

My Goals:
Ultimately, to lose about 55 pounds, become healthier, and be confident.

My Program:
 Nothing too crazy - I just want to do this, so I'm going to take it slow, steady, and make it permanent. This will be a challenge for my impatient nature, but I have to do it.

Personal Information:
I'm 30 and live in Phoenix, AZ, but I'm originally from up north in Flagstaff. I'm always up for a chat, and I'd love to meet some Phoenix area people, so if you feel like talking, I'm here! This goes for non-AZ people too, of course.

The Capricorn child must be "old when young" as this child has a lot of responsibility given to her, so she has little time to play and "be a silly kid."
