Dee, I find I can stare down empty-calorie foods if I plan my day's intake the day before, and know what I MUST eat to fulfill nutritional needs (60 g Protein, 3 veggies, 2 fruit, 2 milk, 25 g fiber). After I give myself good fuel, I don't have many calories left over for empty-calorie foods. And by meeting my nutritional needs, I figure my labs will improve. I feel better, too.
