I Can do It!!!

I am a 53 year old woman with no children and divorced since 1992. I am very involved in my church and ministry. In Sept 2008 I was admitted to the hospital because of an boil that had been lanced got infected and I had to get all that infection cut out. Because of the place and deepness of the wound I had to be hospitalized until December 23rd. While in the hospital I did not get up and walk and I ended up needing a lot of PT to get me walking again. But if that was not all I started ...
I am a 53 year old woman with no children and divorced since 1992. I am very involved in my church and ministry. In Sept 2008 I was admitted to the hospital because of an boil that had been lanced got infected and I had to get all that infection cut out. Because of the place and deepness of the wound I had to be hospitalized until December 23rd. While in the hospital I did not get up and walk and I ended up needing a lot of PT to get me walking again. But if that was not all I started having real bad back pain and went to a Dr for that and found out I have a condition called Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. All of my adult life I have been in and out of the hospital for one thing or another all coming from complication of diabetis. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have been over weight allllll of my life and now I don't know how to stop eating. I am really trying. I have prayed over and over again. Some days I feel like it is hopeless but then I know that the Lord answers prayers. This link I believe will help me. I am looking forward to the journey.

Your in the right place you can do this!
you cant think o fit as not being able to eat.
you should be eating 3 meals and 2-3 snacks a day and drinking 8 glasses of water.
if you do this you won't be hungry and will find it hard to fit it all in.
It is a challenge with the diabetes. My hubs has it too and that's why I'm in here too.

I was hoping maybe there was a saint of weight loss LOL
and then I found her website.
I actually met her last month and am hopefully taking her workshop in october.
it sounds like your eating because your depressed, but, you will find once you start eating good foods and drinking fresh water you will feel so much better.
I started doing that about 3 months ago and try to get in some walking about 15 mins. ( not everyday though working on that)
and I lost 20 pounds so far.
its hard to believe that I was able to lose I know it's from tracking my food in here and all the support from the great members
good luck to you and remember you can do it if you make up your mind to do it and dent let anything stand of your way.
You are going to be so shocked on how much better you feel
soon.
I have fibromyalgia and i chronic pain, but now with 20 pounds gone and healthy food I feel so much better and actually have energy for the first time in a long long time.
my family can't believe the difference in how I feel.
