Live in the Beautiful NW now!!!

I signed up again for another 5% off weight challenge starting Sept 20th. This time I am a Spirited Underdog. New team, hoping it will give me the ump I need to lose the pounds I need to be back at maintenance!!! Since I'm new to the Dawgs team, I am a puppy!!! I like that!!!

I now live in Washington State. I have struggled with weight my whole life. More than once I've had to lose 30 pounds. It just kinda creeps up on ya uh?

I'm thinking that getting use to being focused on what I eat each day, will make it different this time.

My family includes my husband, my 92 year old mother that lives with us, 2 Moluccan cockatoos (more trouble than my children were) and a golden retriever. The birds are more than a hobby, but allow for only them to be a hobby in this household. Brody the golden retriever is a breeze.

I have 3 daughters, and all of them live in the Seattle WA. area. I have 4 grandchildren, the youngest just born June 8, 2012. My biggest wish would be to live closer to my children and grandchildren. (I now live in the NW, about 2 hrs from all my girls and grandkids!) My wish came true, but it was hard won. Oct 18,2013 we had a house fire. It took nine months of misery, moves, and insurance adjustments but we moved into OUR home in Port Angeles, WA 7-18-2014.

Here's to us ALL "positively" losing and keeping our weight off!!

YOU can do it!

P.S. Claim anything you do and want to claim - I saw the sparkmail but I think that was to help people not "claim" exercise minutes towards weight loss - I mean as "calories burned".

Too many think they can walk 10 minutes and have a cupcake. It doesn't work like that.

WATP! Walk Away The Pounds! That's my secret for success!!

In the beginning I called them every name under the sun - Ray laughed at me and with me, heheh. But I will give them the credit for helping me to lose the inches along with the pounds.

No, I didn't realize at the time just how lucky I was and am. I was only trying to burn calories! I need to get back to them but I am just so darn lazy, lol. But I do walk outside 2-3 times daily as weather permits and as my walking buddy is available. We average 6-7 miles broken down into 3 walks. I go through a lot of shoes.

How you doing? I hope the SUDs will help you get back on track and stay with it. I took a breather during the past week but I am hopefully back on track now. I just want to get the last 4-5 lbs gone again.
