Pushing 40 and Dragging 200
I turned 42 this year, and I've been fat for more than 30 of those years, to the best of my memory. Now I have kids who, thanks to my husband, have decent eating habits. But - I see them catching on to my bad habits, and I'll be damned if I'll let another generation of this family be fat and miserable.

My Goals:
Walk 20 minutes ONE DAY a week for three weeks (starting 9/1/2011). Track all meals in a day at least one day per week for three weeks. Have one NO SODA day per week for three weeks. My reward for this accomplishment will be a new pair of blue jeans.
Other Information:
My life goals: See a volcano. In person! Climb one of those dumb climbing walls the skinny people are always climbing. Run a 5k. Run a 10k. Run a half marathon. Run a marathon. Write a book. Learn how to do a cartwheel. Take a vacation with my husband.
