I need more specific goals, so here goes:
Goal 1: 5% lost (~10 lbs) - MET MARCH 2010 Goal 2: Another 5% lost (~10 lbs) - MET APRIL 2011 Goal 3: Get out of 200ville (~30 lbs) Goal 4: Pre-pregnancy weight (~45 lbs - this also drops from obese to overweight BMI) Goal 5: Reach the weight I was when I moved (~53) Goal 6: Reach healthy Weight BMI (~74 lbs) Goal 7: Final goal (~84 lbs)
I don't follow any particular diet plan. I journal and try to stay in my calorie range while eating more fruits & vegetables and fewer edible foodlike substances (yay Michael Pollan!). Walking and hiking keep me sane.
I live in the hot, hot heat.
I'm just a geeky girl with a job, a husband, and a daughter. I would rather play Rock Band or listen to music than read or watch TV. I laugh a lot. :)
When I'm not doing any of that, you can usually find me in the kitchen concocting something or rambling online about whatever music I'm obsessing over that week.
I love Michael Pollan as well... that was one of the things that started me back in January... that simple notion that you shouldn't eat anything that your great grandmother wouldn't recognize as food. :)
