Getting Healthier, One Choice At A Time

Well, here I am again. After a pretty successful bout of losing weight, I began a new job & let it all creep back on and then some. I had a bit of a reality check from my doctor last week, and I think that was just the fire I needed lit under me.

This isn't about being a certain weight or size anymore. This is about getting healthy for ME, so I can be the best version of me possible, and start crossing items off my To Do List (like running a 10k)!

My Goals:
Short Term:
-QUIT EATING after 9:30 pm!!! This one has been SO tough for me.
-Get a decent night's sleep on a regular basis

Mid-Range:
-Hit the 175 mark
-Get back into the habit of every-morning work outs

Long Term:
-Get to a healthy, manageable weight
-Have healthy cholesterol levels
-Be able to fully run a 5K, and start training for a 10K

My Program:
I'm just starting, so right now I'm focusing on just a few basics:
-Eat at least two fresh fruits and two fresh vegetables every day
-Get at least 64 ounces of water in before 9:00 pm every day
-Take my vitamins
-Work out with free weights for at least 15 minutes, 5 days a week

Hi, Danielle! I saw your post on the SP Class team and wanted to stop by and read about your journey. I'm glad you're back, focused and armed with a new plan! It was great to see the goals you have set, and I wish you all the best with them. It's definitely difficult to fit in the healthy lifestyle when so much is going on, especially the demanding schedule of a law student, but you just have to do your best.
