~Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going~

My highest weight was 302 pounds in 2008. I was depressed, miserable and out of control. I found spark people and it changed my life. Thank you spark people! I have lost 150 pounds.

UPDATE* I messed up my routine because of some personal issues I've been dealing with. I have gained weight. Too much weight. I am mad at myself for letting it get this far. So I start again, July 4th 2011. I want to lose 50 pounds by the end of the year. I can do this. I've done it before.

To those of you just starting out, please be patient with yourself! The weight will not come off over night. It took me 1 FULL YEAR to lose 150 pounds. Every week I was just a little bit lighter on the scale, but it took months & months of that to equal a significant amount of weight loss.

My primary exercise program consists of Turbo Jam and Chalean extreme. If you are interested in any of these programs, contact me for more info.

Hard work + dedication = success! How hard are you willing to work for it?

Eat your veggies and limit your portions (this is what spark people has taught me). Nothing is off limits! Everything in moderation.

There are days where I want nothing to do with exercise, but I FORCE myself get up off my rear and MOVE! That's the only way to see results. I always feel really good after working out.

AND REMEMBER THAT...

Success is not a race, be patient.

Success doesn't come to you--you go to it.

Success is a journey, not a destination.

Make the decision, then do something - no matter how small - toward accomplishing what you want.

Your past does not equal, nor does it dictate, your future.

We fail because we don't strike the iron while it's hot. We don't take immediate action toward achieving what we want. We decide to wait until tomorrow, or next week, or even next month.

It comes down to a simple question: what do you want out of life, and what are you willing to do to get it?

Be specific in what you want, and use specific words. Empower yourself, and become the person you dream about...

Quitting is NOT an option.

My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today.

Never give up on a dream just because of the length of time it will take to accomplish it.

A year from now, you may wish you had started today!

Great changes may not happen right away, but with effort even the difficult may become easy.

Don't Quit ~
When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
and forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your calories a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the struggle's, when loosing the grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
that the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
but facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!

AND IMAGINE
Recall the things that have held you back. And imagine how you now
can get beyond them.
Think of the problems that have frustrated you so. And imagine how
you can now rise above them.
Look at how far you've come. And imagine how far you can now go.
Think of all that you've learned. And imagine what you can now do
with that knowledge.
Consider all you've done in the past year. And imagine what you'll
now be able to do.
You're now in a better position than ever to imagine the very best.
And what you can imagine will lead to what you can be.

Lose at least 150 pounds. MAINTAIN MY WEIGHT AND NEVER GO BACK!

Motivate others to change their life with sparkpeople!

My Program:
My program primarily consists of turbo jam & Chalean extreme for strength training.

I am in maintenance mode as of right now (150ish pounds). I eat anywhere between 1300-2000 calories a day. It depends on how hungry I am, and much much exercise I do that day. :)

I try to get in at least 30 minutes of activity EVERY DAY!

Personal Information:
I put most of my energy into taking care of my children. They are 9 and 5. And a handful! ;p

Take the time to enjoy life. Love myself more and more each day. Stop letting food control my life and free myself from this addiction.

Exercise... I'm kind of addicted to it. =)
